well, we didn't win last saturday but finished in 4th rank finally - also not too bad. and beside lots of good memories from that event we have also taken a live stream there. enjoy our starting track 'song for the forsaken' live at volkshaus!

braggarts qualified for rock highway contest!

it's done! thanks to the many loyal fans und countless online votes braggarts are again qualified for 'rock highway contest'.

of course this makes us proud - but nothing is won so far! the contest now will go on with two semi final shows, which will be played live. braggarts are nominated in the first show and will battle against nine other bands on friday, january 7th 2011 at the 'alte kaserne' in zurich.

once again we'd appreciate your immense support for the band on our way!

we mourn the loss of steve lee!

as announced a few minutes ago, the frontman of swiss rock band 'gotthard', steve lee died after a horrible motorcycle crash in the u.s. at the age of 47 years. the accident took place in california.

braggarts are deeply shocked and wish to express our condolences to the familiy and their relatives. for the upcoming time we wish you all a lot of strenght!

steve, we will never forget your voice - it will keep singing in our hearts forever!

rest in peace steve lee!!

well recovered and with a nice tan we're back from summer break, ready for new exploits! in the meantime, we were not just lying on the beach and drinking caipirinhas - hell no, we've been quit active in that time, worked on our live set and roped in some more gigs!

incredible, but really true! thanks to the support of our trusty fans and also because of many second votes we've managed to win the last semi final round in the battle of the bands and proceed to the big final on saturday, january 30. 2010 at the volkshaus. we're don't find any other words than: it will be a dream to us which will become true!

how many times before we've been the visitors of a gig at volkshaus and looked up to the awesome band playing there? and how many times before we had the wish that the band playing up there would be us? it's been numberless times! and now? now exactly that dream will become true! it's probably the most beautiful gift for christmas. thanks again to everybody out there who supported us and made that gift possible to us!

but also here it is the same: after the show is before the show! :-) today at 12am. presales will start at starticket.ch at a price of chf 28. the fast ones of you will have the chance to get one of the first 100 tickets from us at special price of chf 25. therefor just send a mail at info@braggarts.ch with your name, address and the number of tickets you'd like to order. first come, first served. we look forward to a haunting event hoping you'll all support us there again! hell yeah

rock highway contest: out! :-(

last saturday braggarts played in the gaskessel in berne their semi final of the rock highway contest. sadly we've been there without any support of our fans and therefore we've had to sustain ourselves against the other 7 bands. but we've attracted the attention of the 'foreign' crowd and received many of the second votes. also the jury rated us well and at the end we've ranked 3rd. however, only the two best placed bands are allowed to play the final in the volkshaus on 02.01.2010 which means we have to strike the flag....

anyway we've had a lot of fun and we would like to thank the organizer for a great event!

well, what should we say? there is never a contest coming alone... :-) and our fans have decided with their votes on musiclist.ch that we'll also participate at the rock highway contest. we'll play our semi-final on saturday, december 5th 2009 from 8pm in the well known gaskessel in berne! we do know berne isn't next to the most of you, but anyway we hope to get your large and numerous support! come rock with us!

yes, wir did it!! along with mindcollision from zug we setted the pace yesterday night during the preliminary round of the battle of the bands at abart music club in zurich and so we're qualified for the semi-finals without a doubt!

we won't miss to thank you all for coming and joining us and at least voting for us. it was a great night and: we'll meet again - soon!!

well, it took us two days to bunch our minds together but now we're ready to have a look back to our gig at bazillus club in zurich. :-) we've had a lot of great fun on this perfectly organized evening of local noise promoter. and we want to thank all of our fans for beeing and rocking with us! hope to see all of you soon again! stay tuned and rock on!!

for more than one week we're almost every day in the studios to work on the songs for our new demo. we hope the disc will be ready in the middle of march to hold sway over the world of rock! :-)

beside new versions of influence, restless spirit, escape and my friend we'll pack the three brand spanking new and energetic records little girl, vulnerable and mr. bloom on it. you may be anxious! so long....!

those of you which come by more often probably already know we've lost all of our old content due to a webserver crash during this year...so there are no older news anymore... :-/

from our point of view we don't really care about that fact because we anyway want to start a new chapter of braggarts history right now - so who cares about old hats?
